Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) Policy

1. Ownership of the Platform

The Platform's software, source code, design, user interface, graphics, and the "FanNgage" name, logo, and associated marks are the exclusive property of Geotech or its licensors, and are protected under the Copyright Act, 1957, the Trade Marks Act, 1999, and other applicable Indian and international intellectual property laws.

2. Partner Club & League Trademarks

Club names, crests, kit designs, player likenesses, league logos, and other marks displayed on the Platform belong to their respective sports clubs, leagues, or rights holders ("Partners") and are displayed under license or agreement with those Partners. Nothing in these Terms grants you any rights in a Partner's trademarks beyond viewing them as part of the Platform experience.

3. License to Use the Platform

Subject to your compliance with our Terms & Conditions, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Platform for your personal, non-commercial use. This license does not include any right to resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit the Platform or its content.

4. Prohibited Uses

• Copying, modifying, or creating derivative works of the Platform's software, design, or content without prior written permission.
• Using the FanNgage name, logo, or any Partner's marks in a way that suggests endorsement or affiliation without authorization.
• Scraping, data-mining, or extracting content from the Platform using automated tools.
• Removing or altering any copyright, trademark, or other proprietary notice from the Platform.
• Using Platform content for any commercial purpose without a separate written license from Geotech and, where applicable, the relevant Partner.

5. User-Submitted Content

Content you submit to the Platform (forum posts, comments, quiz/poll responses, profile content) remains yours, but by submitting it you grant Geotech a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive license to host, reproduce, and display it as part of operating the Platform, as further described in our Terms & Conditions.

6. Reporting Infringement

If you believe content on the Platform infringes your copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property rights, send a written notice to legal@fanngage.com including: (a) identification of the work claimed to be infringed; (b) identification of the allegedly infringing material and its location on the Platform; (c) your contact details; (d) a statement of good-faith belief that the use is unauthorized; and (e) a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the notice is accurate and that you are the rights holder or authorized to act on their behalf.

We will review valid notices and, where appropriate, remove or disable access to the identified content, consistent with our obligations as an intermediary under the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the IT (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021.
